Overview
The Siemens QRA2(1) is a normal sensitivity ultraviolet (UV) flame detector designed for the supervision of gas or oil flames and for ignition spark proving. This sensor is engineered for intermittent operation, typically used in conjunction with Siemens burner controls to ensure reliable flame monitoring in industrial and commercial burner applications. The unit features a compact, metallized plastic housing designed to prevent static charging from fan air flow and includes a securing flange and clamp for direct mounting to the burner.
Features
- Ultraviolet-sensitive photodiode detects radiation in the 190 to 270 nm range
- Normal sensitivity rating suitable for standard gas and oil flame supervision
- Self-contained unit includes a securing flange and clamp for easy installation
- Metallized plastic housing prevents static interference from air circulation
- Designed for intermittent operating modes
- Black terminal cover for easy identification of sensitivity type
- Compatible with a wide range of Siemens burner controls including LME, LFL, and LMV series
