Overview
The Siemens QRA2M(1) is a high-sensitivity ultraviolet (UV) flame detector designed for the supervision of gas or oil flames and for ignition spark proving. This sensor monitors the intensity of UV radiation emitted by the burner flame during each half cycle, providing a signal current to the burner control system to ensure safe operation. It is specifically engineered for intermittent operation and features a robust, metallized plastic housing to prevent static charging from fan air flow.
Features
- High-sensitivity UV photodiode for reliable flame detection
- Integrated metallized plastic housing to eliminate static interference
- Supplied with a mounting flange and clamp for secure installation
- Designed for intermittent operation (not suitable for continuous use)
- IP40 protection rating for internal burner mounting
- Compatible with a wide range of Siemens burner controls, including the LMV, LME, and LFL series
