Overview
The Siemens QRA10M.C is a high-sensitivity ultraviolet (UV) flame detector designed for the supervision of gas and oil flames, as well as for ignition spark proving. Housed in a rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure, this sensor is engineered to detect the UV radiation emitted by flames to generate a reliable flame signal. It is a critical safety component used in conjunction with Siemens burner controls to ensure secure and efficient combustion processes in industrial and commercial environments.
Features
- High-sensitivity UV cell for precise detection of gas and blue- or yellow-burning oil flames
- Rugged die-cast aluminum housing provides durability in harsh industrial settings
- Integrated 1-inch mounting coupling for secure attachment to viewing tubes
- Connection facility for cooling air to extend the life of the UV cell in high-temperature environments
- Dust and splash protection with an IP54 rating
- Swiveling shutter mechanism to protect the UV cell and facilitate self-checking (when used with compatible controls)
- Quartz-glass window to shield the detector tube and shutter from contaminants
