Overview
The Fireye SB49600-91 is a high-sensitivity ultraviolet (UV) flame scanner designed for industrial burner management and flame safeguard applications. Specifically engineered as a straight-viewing replacement for the Eclipse 49600-91, this non-self-checking scanner detects UV radiation emitted by gas or oil flames. It is designed for use in intermittent combustion systems where the burner cycles at least once every 24 hours to ensure the safety checking circuit is exercised.
Features
- High UV sensitivity for reliable monitoring of gas and oil flames.
- Straight viewing angle design for direct line-of-sight installation.
- Non-self-checking operation suitable for frequently cycling burners.
- Durable aluminum housing with a glass-reinforced PBT polyester insulator.
- Comes equipped with a 6-foot (183 cm) flexible metal conduit for easy wiring.
- Provides real-time feedback on flame status to compatible control units.
- UL listed for the USA and Canada, FM approved, and CSA certified.
