Overview
The Siemens VGF10.504P is a high-performance, single-body flanged gas valve designed for safety shut-off and control in industrial and commercial combustion systems. Part of the Siemens VG series, this normally closed valve is engineered to be used in combination with Siemens SKP series electro-hydraulic actuators. It is suitable for use with gas families I, II, III, and air, providing a reliable solution for gas trains in forced draft burners and combustion plants. Its modular design allows it to function as either a simple shut-off valve or a control valve with a shut-off feature, depending on the mounted actuator.
Features
- Normally closed, 2-port single valve design with flanged connections
- Functions as a safety shut-off valve when paired with SKP series actuators, opening slowly and closing rapidly
- Integrated stainless steel mesh strainer (0.9 mm) protects the valve seat and downstream components from debris
- Contoured valve disk ensures precise alignment, tight shut-off, and stable regulating control performance
- Durable cast iron construction designed for a lifetime of 100,000 burner startup cycles
- Flexible mounting allows the actuator to be fitted in four different positions (90 degree steps) and replaced while the valve is under pressure
