Overview
The Siemens VGD40.065L is a high-performance double gas valve body designed for use in gas trains for burners and gas-fired combustion plants. It consists of two safety shut-off valves in series, providing a critical safety function by ensuring reliable gas shut-off. The “L” variant features an inverted position of the mounting plates for the pressure switch and pilot gas plate compared to the standard model, offering flexibility for specific installation requirements. These normally closed valves are engineered to be used in combination with Siemens SKP series electro-hydraulic actuators to provide functions such as safety shut-off, gas pressure regulation, and air-gas ratio control.
