Overview

The Fireye UV7A4 is a non-self-checking, straight ultraviolet (UV) flame scanner designed for industrial and commercial burner management systems. It is specifically engineered to monitor gas or oil flames that cycle on and off frequently. The scanner works by detecting UV radiation from the flame, which ionizes a gas-filled quartz tube to produce a signal. It features a robust design capable of withstanding high-temperature environments and includes a 1/2 inch F.N.P.T. insulated nylon coupling to prevent heat conduction from the burner to the scanner.
