Overview

The Fireye UV2 is a miniature, non-self-checking ultraviolet flame scanner designed for industrial and commercial burner management systems. It utilizes a quartz UV tube to detect radiation from flames, providing a reliable signal to ensure safe combustion. Its compact design and 3/8 inch NPT mounting connection make it suitable for installations with limited space where standard 1/2 inch scanners may not fit.

Applications

The UV2 is used on Fireye Flame Safeguard and Burner Management Controls to detect flames from standard fuel gases, waste gases, and light oil fuels such as No. 2 oil. It is compatible with Fireye M-Series, M-Series II, MicroM, FlameWorx, MB-2, D-Series, BurnerLogix, and Nexus systems. It is ideally suited for intermittent operation where the burner cycles at least once every 24 hours.
