Overview
The Fireye UV1A-1-CEX is a specialized ultraviolet (UV) flame scanner assembly featuring a miniature UV1A scanner integrated into a CENELEC-certified EExd IIC explosion-proof housing. It is designed for high-safety industrial environments where the presence of explosive gases or vapors requires ruggedized, flameproof equipment. This non-self-checking scanner is optimized for monitoring flames from fuel gases and No. 2 fuel oil in industrial burner management and flame safeguard systems.
Features
- Explosion-Proof Protection: Housed in a CENELEC EExd IIC rated enclosure, making it suitable for hazardous locations.
- Ultraviolet Sensing Technology: Utilizes a quartz UV tube to accurately detect radiation emitted by gas and light oil flames.
- Compact Miniature Scanner: Incorporates the UV1A series internal components, known for their small footprint and reliability.
- Non-Self-Checking Design: Ideal for intermittent burner operations where the system cycles at least once every 24 hours.
- Durable Construction: Features a non-replaceable UV tube sealed within a rugged housing for long-term industrial use.
