Overview
The Siemens SQM50.461R1Z4R is a high-precision, reversing rotary actuator designed for the modulating control of air and gas dampers, butterfly valves, and other equipment requiring rotary motion. Part of the robust SQM5 series, this actuator is engineered for industrial and commercial burner systems, offering reliable performance in air/fuel ratio management. It features a durable die-cast aluminum housing with a heat-resistant plastic cover and is specifically configured for clockwise (CW) rotation with a multi-input electronic module.
Features
- Reversing actuator with field-reversible clockwise or counterclockwise operation
- Multi-input electronic module compatible with 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 135 Ohm, 0 to 10 Vdc, and position proportional control
- Equipped with six internal, easily adjustable SPDT switches (2 limit and 4 auxiliary)
- Integrated auto/manual selector switch and manual forward/reverse toggle for easy adjustment
- Externally visible shaft position indicator for real-time monitoring
- High modulating accuracy and low hysteresis with double-offset drive and potentiometer gearing
- Disengagement clutches for drive shaft and cam drum for manual positioning
