Overview
The Fireye MB-632S is an integrated multi-burner control system designed to manage the startup sequence and monitor the flame of up to 20 individual gas, oil, or combination burners on a common valve train. As an advanced version of the MB-600S, it features the MB-632M motherboard, which provides an RS-232 interface for remote communication and system status monitoring. It is specifically engineered to meet the safety and reliability requirements of the industrial process heat market, consolidating multiple control functions into a single module to save space and reduce costs.
Features
- RS-232 Communication: Enables remote monitoring and diagnostic logging to identify faults quickly.
- Integrated Sequencing: Controls the complete burner cycle, including startup, supervision, and shutdown.
- Expandable Design: Accommodates up to 20 individual flame monitoring boards to match system capacity.
- Dynamic Diagnostics: Performs onboard checks for faulty relays, proof of valve closure (POVC), air switch shorts, and interlocks.
- Fault Identification: Features the ability to pinpoint which specific burner caused an initial flame failure.
- Configurable Operation: Includes DIP switches for quick field configuration and selectable purge timing.
