Overview
The Siemens LMV27.100A2 is a microprocessor-based burner management system designed for the control and supervision of single-fuel forced draft burners of medium to high capacity. As a critical safety component, it integrates burner control, electronic fuel-air ratio control, and gas valve proving into a single compact unit. It is engineered for intermittent operation and supports up to two actuators, facilitating precise combustion control and energy efficiency. The system is intended for use by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and features a designed lifetime of 250,000 startup cycles, approximately 10 years of service.
Features
- Integrated electronic fuel-air ratio control for up to two SQM3 or SQN1 stepper motor actuators
- Built-in gas valve proving system to ensure safety before burner startup
- Modbus communication interface for integration into building automation and control systems (BACS)
- Burner Connection Interface (BCI) for connecting to detached display units (AZL2) or PC software (ACS410)
- Microprocessor-controlled logic with a contact feedback network to supervise all safety-related digital inputs and outputs
- Flexible parameter settings allow for customization via display or PC-based tools
- Support for multiple flame detectors including ionization probes and QRA, QRB, or QRC optical detectors
