Overview
The Siemens LGK16.335A27 is a high-performance, electronic burner control designed for the supervision of multi-stage or modulating gas, oil, or dual-fuel burners. Specifically engineered for medium to high-capacity industrial and commercial combustion plants, this flame safeguard is built for continuous operation (more than 24 hours without shutdown). It features a sophisticated self-checking flame supervision circuit that continuously monitors the flame signal, detector cables, and internal amplifier for faults. If a fault is detected that could simulate a flame signal, the controller initiates a safety lockout to prevent hazardous operating conditions.
Features
- Self-checking flame supervision circuit for maximum safety during continuous operation
- Integrated air pressure supervision to ensure correct air damper control during prepurge and operation
- Plug-in design allowing for easy installation and maintenance with compatible bases
- Robust construction with a shock-resistant and heat-resistant black plastic housing
- Visual indicators including a lockout indicator, fault signal lamp, and a manual reset button
- Integrated exchangeable unit fuse and a spare fuse located within the housing
- Compatible with ultraviolet (UV) flame detectors like the QRA53/QRA55 or ionization probes
- Certified to EN298 and CE standards for use in gas-fired and oil-fired applications
