Overview
The Siemens LFE10 is a high-reliability flame detector relay designed for the supervision of gas flames and luminous or blue-burning oil flames. It is specifically engineered for use in conjunction with UV detectors (such as the Siemens QRA series) or ionization probes. Primarily utilized with LEC1 burner controls, the LFE10 provides critical safety functions for multi-flame supervision and dual-supervision burner systems. This unit is designed for intermittent operation, requiring a controlled shutdown at least once every 24 hours to perform necessary self-tests of the flame supervision circuit.
Features
- Self-checking mechanism includes an automatic test of the UV detector or flame simulation during burner off and purging times
- Versatile sensor compatibility supporting both UV flame detectors and ionization rectification probes
- Integrated flame indication lamp located behind a viewing window in the unit cover for easy status monitoring
- Intrinsically safe electrical circuit design when used with compatible Siemens burner controls
- Durable plug-in design with a housing made of impact-proof and heat-resistant plastic
- Flexible mounting options allowing for installation in any position on burners or within control panels
