Overview
The Johnson Controls CSDECM-ADJ2 is an adjustable current switch designed for reliable Go/No-Go run detection on Electronically Commutated Motors (ECMs). It features an adjustable turn-on setpoint to filter out the small amount of standby current drawn by idle ECMs, preventing false operational readings in building automation systems.
Features
- Adjustable turn-on setpoint via an easily scaled dial to ignore standby current
- Induced sensor power eliminates the need for an external power supply
- Includes an integrated command relay to save installation space and time
- Provides reliable loss of load and status detection for fractional horsepower motors
Specifications
- Amperage Range: Adjustable from 0.25 A to 3 A dial setting; 200 A maximum operational current
- Relay Contact Rating: Normally Closed (N.C.), 10 A at 125 VAC
- Actuation Coil: 24 VAC/VDC nominal
- Temperature Rating: 5°F to 140°F (-15°C to 60°C)
- Frequency Range: 50/60 Hz
Applications
- Go/No-Go run detection on Electronically Commutated Motors (ECMs)
- Fan and pump status monitoring in HVAC systems
- Commercial building automation and power management integration
