Overview
The CSDECM-ADJ1 Johnson Controls Current Switch is an adjustable, split-core current operating switch designed for Go/No-Go run detection on Electronically Commutated Motors (ECMs) and other electrical loads in HVAC and building automation systems. It features a high-resolution adjustable turn-on setpoint that ignores the small standby current drawn by idle ECM inverters, preventing false ON status readings and ensuring accurate operational verification without the need for live calibration.
Features
- High-resolution adjustable turn-on setpoint dial to accurately ignore ECM standby idle current
- Split-core clamp design allows for quick installation on existing wiring without disconnecting cables
- Optional integrated N.O. command relay adds switching power without requiring separate power supplies
- Polarity-insensitive output provides simpler and safer wiring configurations
- Low turn-on current scale extends usage to sub-fractional horsepower motors
