Overview
The Fireye 95DSS3-1 InSight II is a sophisticated, microprocessor-based integrated flame scanner designed to detect both ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation. As part of the InSight II family, it combines flame detection, amplification, and safety determination into a single head, eliminating the need for a separate remote amplifier. It is engineered for high-reliability applications where precise flame discrimination is essential to distinguish the target burner from background radiation or adjacent flames.
Features
- Dual sensor technology utilizing both solid-state infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) detectors
- Two independently adjustable internal flame relays with customizable ON/OFF thresholds
- Two 4-20 mA analog outputs for real-time signal strength monitoring
- Advanced flame “flicker” modulation techniques with 21 selectable frequency choices
- Four programmable memory files to store settings for different fuels or firing rates
- Automatic configuration capability with manual override for simplified setup
- Electronic self-checking and SIL 3 certification for high-integrity safety functions
- Quick disconnect design with one 8-pin and one 12-pin connector for fast installation
