Overview
The Fireye 60-2721-2 is a replacement scanner electronics assembly designed for the 95IRS2E-1CEX InSight I series flame scanner. It is a microprocessor-based component that utilizes solid-state infrared (IR) sensors to detect flame presence and provide superior discrimination in complex multi-burner environments. As an integrated unit, it houses the sensing, processing, and output electronics necessary to replace the internal assembly of existing hazardous-area housings.
Features
- Solid-state infrared sensor provides accurate detection of infrared radiation from 700 to 1700 nm.
- Integrated amplifier and flame relay eliminate the need for external rack-mounted controllers.
- Eight-character alpha-numeric LED display for real-time monitoring of flame signal and parameters.
- Four-button keypad allows for local configuration and adjustment of sensor gain and thresholds.
- Electronic self-checking technology ensures continuous safety monitoring without mechanical shutters.
- Selectable modulation frequencies (Expanded S2 model features) to optimize discrimination between target and background flames.
