Overview

The Fireye 60-2720 Vortex-Tube Cooler Kit is a specialized cooling solution designed for industrial flame scanners operating in high ambient temperature environments. When standard cooling air applied to a scanner’s port is insufficient to keep temperatures within safe operating limits, this kit provides a supplemental chilled air stream. It utilizes a stainless steel vortex tube with no moving parts that operates on compressed air, separating it into hot and cold streams to effectively lower the internal temperature of the scanner.
