The Fireye 60-2380-4 is a replacement infrared (IR) flame scanner designed for use with the 45RM4-1000EX series flame scanners. It serves as a critical sensing component within industrial burner management and flame safeguard systems, utilizing lead sulfide (PbS) technology to detect the presence or absence of a flame by monitoring specific flicker frequencies. This scanner is engineered for high discrimination, allowing it to distinguish between the targeted burner flame and background radiation or adjacent flames in complex multi-burner environments.

Applications

Common applications include large multi-burner boilers in electric power stations, pulp and paper mills, petrochemical refineries, and other heavy industrial combustion systems.
