Overview

The Fireye 45UVFS1-1000 Signature Scanner is a high-performance ultraviolet flame detector designed to monitor burner flames by analyzing their unique frequency spectrum. Although now obsolete, it was engineered to provide advanced flame discrimination in multi-burner environments. It utilizes a “super-blue” silicon cell sensitive to UV radiation, making it suitable for a wide range of fuel types including gas, oil, and coal. The scanner features a microcomputer that compares the sensed flame against a learned “flame signature” stored in its memory to ensure stability and safety.
