Overview
The Fireye 45RM2-1001 is a self-checking infrared (IR) flame scanner designed for industrial burner management and flame safeguard applications. It is specifically engineered to detect the presence or absence of flames in environments using “dirty” fuels such as oil, coal, or gas. This model is identical in function to the 45RM2-1000 but features a 1-inch BSP (British Standard Pipe) mounting thread instead of NPT. Although now considered an obsolete product by the manufacturer, it remains a critical component in many legacy combustion systems for continuous flame monitoring.
