The Magnatrol 18A43 SOLENOID Valve 3/4″ NC 120V 0/110#
Overview
The Magnatrol 14K43 (G14K43SC-ACTH) is a Type “”K””, two-way, full port solenoid valve constructed from stainless steel. It is a Normally Closed (N/C) valve, meaning it opens when the coil is energized and closes when power is de-energized. This internal pilot-operated valve is designed to open from zero up to its maximum differential pressure, requiring no differential pressure to open. It is built with a packless design for dependable service.
Features
– Operation: Normally Closed (N/C), opening upon coil energization and closing upon de-energization.
– Construction: Full Port, Type “”K”” design with a 304 Stainless Steel Globe Pattern body and NPT ends.
– Pressure Operation: No differential pressure is required for the valve to open.
– Wetted Parts: Includes 303 Stainless Steel Piston and Pilot Valve, and a Glass Filled PTFE/Teflon Orifice Seal, with no copper-bearing alloys in contact with the fluid.
– Coil: Encapsulated, continuous duty coil, with Class H insulation standard, designed for both AC and DC voltages.
– Installation: Must be mounted in a horizontal pipe with the solenoid enclosure vertical and on top.

Applications
The 14K43 solenoid valve is designed to control the flow of Corrosive Fluids, Deionized Water, Condensate, Ammonias, Vegetable Oils, Fuel Oils, Cryogenics (such as liquid oxygen, liquid argon, and liquid nitrogen), and Flammable Liquids. It is suitable for any fluid that is not reactive with the stainless steel construction materials and is free of sediment. It is often used in process control systems, including Cryogenic and Oxygen Service applications.
