144A59 Magnatrol Solenoid Valve

The Magnatrol 144A59 SOLENOID Valve 3″ NC 120V 0/300# SOL Valve

144A59 Magnatrol Solenoid Valve

Overview

The Magnatrol 144A59 is a full port, Type A, bronze solenoid valve with Normally Closed (N/C) operation. The valve opens when the coil is energized (Energize to Open) and closes when power is de-energized. It is designed as an internal pilot-operated or direct-acting valve that can operate from zero to its maximum differential pressure, requiring no pressure differential to open.

Features

• Operation: Normally Closed (N/C), opening upon coil energization.
• Construction: Cast Bronze body with Globe Pattern, NPT ends, and packless design.
• Port: Full Port for straight-thru flow.
• Coil: Encapsulated Class B coil is standard (Class H available) and designed for continuous duty with both AC and DC voltages.
• Pressure Operation: Requires no differential pressure to open.

Applications

The 144A59 solenoid valve is used to control the flow of general service fluids, including Water, Oil, Air, Gas, Solvents, Brine, and Vacuum. It is suitable for any fluids that are not reactive with the construction materials and are free of sediment. It is a general-purpose valve often used in HVAC and process control systems. Installation requires mounting in a horizontal pipe with the solenoid enclosure vertical and on top.
