Overview

The Johnson Controls P145NCA-82C is an electromechanical lube oil pressure cutout control designed to provide dependable, low lube oil pressure protection for pressure-lubricated refrigeration compressors. It measures the net oil pressure, which is the difference between the oil gage pressure and the refrigerant pressure in the crankcase, to prevent compressor damage due to lack of lubrication. The control features a built-in time delay relay that is ambient-temperature compensated, allowing for pressure pickup on start-up and avoiding nuisance shutdowns caused by short-duration pressure drops during the running cycle.
