Y20EBE-2 Johnson Controls Valve Linkage

Overview

The Johnson Controls Y20EBE-2 is a field-mounting valve linkage adapter kit designed to adapt VT Series terminal unit valves equipped with slotted stems. This kit converts a standard 1/2-inch slotted valve stem into a threaded end, establishing a secure mechanical interface for modern high-torque electric actuators such as the M100 Series and VA-7150 Series. It allows technicians to upgrade or retrofit existing valve assemblies easily without removing the valve body from the piping system, ensuring precise stroke control and reliable close-off performance.

Features

• Stem Conversion: Enables the seamless conversion of slotted-end stems to threaded connections for compatibility with modern electric actuators.
• High Compatibility: Designed specifically for Johnson Controls VT Series terminal unit valves with slotted-top stems.
• Vibration-Resistant Installation: Features a robust V-3000 bonnet adapter and a 7/16-20 palnut to ensure a stable and secure connection.
• Field Retrofit Friendly: Reduces system downtime by allowing direct field mounting without requiring full valve replacements or pipe dismantling.
• Enhanced Shutoff Standards: Helps contractors maintain ANSI Class IV shutoff standards when properly integrated with compatible actuators.
