VG7842GT+7150G Johnson Controls Valve / Actuator

Overview

The Johnson Controls V46AR-1C is a commercial-grade, direct-acting, pressure-actuated water-regulating valve designed to automatically modulate water flow in response to pressure changes. It is primarily used on open or closed refrigeration and HVAC systems to regulate the flow of water or glycol to a water-cooled condenser, maintaining consistent head pressure and preventing excessive water consumption.

Features

• Direct-acting modulation that opens on a pressure increase
• Pressure-balanced design that maintains a consistent setpoint despite sudden water pressure changes
• Robust design with no close-fitting or sliding parts in water passages to handle less-than-ideal conditions
• Designed to minimize chatter or water hammer
• Free movement of all interior components for smooth pressure regulation
• Easy manual flushing capability
• Range spring isolated from the cooling water to prevent corrosion
