VG12A5JV Johnson Controls Ball Valve

Overview

The Johnson Controls SEC99AA-48C is a high-performance UltraCap armored capillary tube assembly designed for use as a reliable pressure connection in demanding commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications. It connects pressure-actuated controls, such as the PENN line, to HVACR components while effectively minimizing pressure pulsations that can lead to premature tubing or control failure. The assembly features a copper capillary line protected by a rugged brass armor sleeve, ensuring excellent durability against vibration-induced wear, mechanical damage, and abrasion.

Features

• UltraCap armored capillary design provides superior mechanical protection and a long service life.
• Copper capillary tubing prevents the effusion or leakage of refrigerants into the environment.
• Small internal orifice offers built-in pulsation dampening to protect sensitive switches and transducers.
• Equipped with a brass armored sleeve that delivers high resistance to vibration and abrasive friction.
• Dual straight connection configuration simplifies alignment and routing during installation.

Applications

The SEC99AA-48C is engineered for connecting pressure controls, switches, and sensing systems in commercial HVACR environments. It is ideal for high-vibration areas, such as compressor housings, where standard copper lines are prone to cracking or rubbing. The 1/4-inch SAE female flare fittings ensure seamless integration with industry-standard refrigeration access valves and controls, making it a preferred option for both new system installations and field service replacements.
