Overview

The Johnson Controls VA9203-GGA-2Z is a proportional direct-coupled electric ball valve actuator featuring a spring return fail-safe mechanism. Operating on a 24 VAC/VDC supply, this bidirectional actuator provides precise positioning on Johnson Controls VG1000 Series 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch ball valves in heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. It uses a microprocessor-controlled brushless DC motor to drive the valve at a constant speed independent of torque and includes a 120-inch plenum-rated cable for simplified wiring in environmental air spaces.
