Overview

The Johnson Controls V47AD-19C is a temperature-actuated modulating water valve designed for commercial cross-ambient applications. It regulates the flow of water or glycol to maintain a desired temperature, opening automatically upon a temperature increase at the sensing bulb.

Features

It features a pressure-balanced design that keeps setpoints independent of inlet pressure, and it contains no close-fitting sliding parts in water passages to prevent sticking from contamination. The valve design minimizes chatter and water hammer while allowing easy manual flushing and inline maintenance.

This 1-inch NPT direct-acting valve is constructed with a cast iron body and operates within a temperature range of 40 to 85°F. It includes a 6-foot capillary and an 11/16-inch by 16-1/4-inch Style 4 bulb, with a maximum water temperature rating of 170°F and a maximum water pressure of 150 psig.
