Overview
The Johnson Controls V47AA-3C is a temperature-actuated modulating water regulating valve designed to control the flow of water or glycol to maintain a desired temperature. The valve features a quick-opening characteristic and opens on a temperature increase at the sensing bulb. It employs a pressure-balanced design that isolates the range spring from fluid passages to protect against sedimentation and corrosion.
Features
- Pressure-balanced design ensures the setpoint is independent of water inlet pressure.
- Eliminates close-fitting or sliding parts in water passages to prevent valve sticking and minimize hysteresis.
- Designed to minimize chatter and water hammer during operation.
- Easy to disassemble for convenient in-line repairs and parts replacement.
Specifications
- Pipe Size: 3/8 inch NPT
