MP822E001A Johnson Controls Actuator

Overview

The Johnson Controls MP822E001A is a heavy-duty MP82 Series pneumatic valve actuator designed to accurately position hot water, chilled water, and steam control valves in commercial and industrial building automation systems. Part of the MP8000 Series, this actuator features a molded synthetic rubber diaphragm contained within a sturdy, corrosion-resistant housing that protects the internal components against dirt and damage while maintaining a constant effective area throughout the actuator stroke.

Features

• Field-Reversible Action: Allows for selectable spring-return action to suit various valve configurations.
• Position Indicator: Included with the actuator to provide a clear visual indication of the valve stem position.
• Quick-Fit Coupler System: Enables fast and easy attachment to compatible valves, reducing field installation costs.
• Defined Fail-Safe: Spring-return mechanism automatically drives the stem to the up position upon loss of control air pressure.
• Rugged Construction: Features a die-formed carbon steel housing and formed steel yoke, both coated with a corrosion-resistant finish.

Specifications

• Diaphragm Area: 25 square inches (Size 150)
