Overview
The Fireye MP561 is a plug-in programmer module used with the Fireye Modular M-Series II flame safeguard control system. It provides automatic ignition and continuous flame monitoring for commercial-sized heating and process burners using gas or light oil fuels. The MP561 is specifically designed as a version of the MP560 without a pilot stabilization period, facilitating faster burner sequencing. It features a series of dipswitches that allow for field-selectable timings and operational modes, and includes a check-run switch to assist in pilot testing.
Features
- Selectable purge timing and Pilot Trial for Ignition (PTFI) timing via internal dipswitches.
- Field-selectable recycle or non-recycle operation.
- Integrated check-run switch to assist in testing the size and stabilization of the pilot flame.
- LED indicator lights providing real-time operating status and diagnostic information.
- Plug-in design for simplified installation and replacement within M-Series II chassis.
- Pilot cutoff functionality and 10-second main flame trial-for-ignition (MTFI).
Specifications
- Supply Voltage: 120 VAC (compatible with MC120 chassis) or 230 VAC (compatible with MC230 chassis).
- Purge Timing: Selectable options typically include 5, 7, 15, 30, or 60 seconds.
- PTFI Timing: Selectable between 5 or 10 seconds.
- MTFI Timing: 10 seconds.
- Operating Temperature: -40 degree F to 140 degree F (-40 degree C to 60 degree C).
- Shipping Weight: Approximately 3 lbs.
- Dimensions: Approximately 4.15 in x 5.95 in x 1.7 in.
Applications
The Fireye MP561 is used in commercial and industrial combustion systems, including boilers and process burners that utilize gaseous fuels or No. 2 oil. It is designed for intermittent operation where the burner cycles at least once every 24 hours. It must be used with Fireye Modular M-Series II chassis (such as MC120 or MC230) and is compatible with various flame scanners, including UV models and flame rods, depending on the amplifier module selected.
