Overview
The Fireye MB-685S is a specialized multi-burner control system designed to manage the start-up sequence and monitor the flames of up to 20 individual gas, oil, or combination fuel burners connected to a common valve train. As a fully integrated, microcomputer-based control, it consolidates sequential logic and safety circuitry into a single module. The MB-685S is functionally identical to the standard MB-600S model but is specifically equipped with the MB-685M motherboard, which provides RS-485 communication capabilities for remote monitoring and interfacing.
Features
- Controls and monitors up to 20 individual burners using expansion modules.
- RS-485 communication via the MB-685M motherboard for industrial networking.
- Dynamic on-board diagnostics to identify faulty relays, air switch shorts, and specific burner failures.
- Plug-in modular design allowing for individual replacement of the relay, logic, and power modules.
- On-board DIP switches for easy configuration of sequence and timing to meet specific application needs.
- Support for various flame sensing technologies, including UV, UV self-check, and flame rod.
