EFX24-SR-S N4 Belimo Damper Actuator

The Belimo EFX24-SR-S N4 is a configurable spring return, modulating damper actuator engineered for commercial and industrial HVAC applications where dependable fail-safe operation is essential. Delivering 270 in-lb (30 Nm) of torque, this actuator is ideal for operating large outdoor air dampers, isolation dampers, and other critical ventilation applications.

Designed to operate on 24 VAC/DC, the actuator accepts a 2–10 VDC modulating control signal and provides 2–10 VDC position feedback for precise integration with building automation systems (BAS). Two built-in SPDT auxiliary switches allow additional control functions such as end position indication or equipment interlocking.

The rugged NEMA 4 / UL Type 4 enclosure protects the actuator from rain, dust, and other harsh environmental conditions, making it suitable for rooftop equipment, outdoor air handling units, and exposed installations. A spring return mechanism automatically drives the damper to its fail-safe position in less than 20 seconds upon power loss, helping protect equipment and maintain system safety.

The actuator features a direct-coupled mounting design, adjustable rotation up to 95°, reversible clockwise or counterclockwise installation, manual override with the included 5 mm hex crank, and maintenance-free operation for long service life.
