D-3244-4 Johnson Controls Damper Actuator

Overview

The Johnson Controls M9104-IGA-2S is a compact, direct-mount, non-spring return electric damper actuator designed to accurately position balancing, control, round, and zone dampers in HVAC systems. Housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure, this motor-driven actuator operates on 24 VAC power and features an integrated 4-foot plenum-rated cable for simplified field wiring. It provides floating or on/off control and includes an automatic shutoff feature with a built-in timeout to protect the motor from excessive wear and drive time.

Features

• Simple direct coupling eliminates the need for complex damper linkages, reducing installation time and increasing operational reliability.
• Integrated auto-shutoff mechanism provides floating control with a timeout feature, preventing excessive motor wear.
• Brushless synchronous drive motor technology ensures constant running times independent of the load.
• Magnetic clutch offers continuous over-torque protection throughout the entire range of rotation.
• Manual gear release enables easy installation setup, commissioning, and manual field adjustments.
• Whisper-quiet operation with a maximum audible noise rating of 35 dBA at one meter.
