Overview

The Fireye 95DSS2-1 is an enhanced InSight series microprocessor-based flame scanner that integrates both infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) sensors. This dual-sensor approach provides superior flame detection and discrimination in complex industrial combustion environments. By combining both technologies, the scanner can effectively monitor multiple fuel types and differentiate between a target flame and background radiation or adjacent burner flames. It features an integrated design that includes the sensing element and signal processing in a single housing, which incorporates an internal flame relay to eliminate the need for a separate remote amplifier.
