Overview
The Fireye 65UV5-1004 is a microprocessor-based, self-checking ultraviolet (UV) flame scanner designed for industrial burner management and flame safeguard applications. This integrated scanner detects UV emissions from fossil fuel flames and includes an internal flame relay, which eliminates the necessity for an external flame amplifier. The 65UV5-1004 model is now discontinued and was originally equipped with a 10-foot captive molded cable; it has been succeeded by the 65UV5-1004QD, which features a quick-disconnect fitting for easier field service and replacement.
