Overview

The Fireye 45UV5-1007 is a high-performance, self-checking ultraviolet (UV) flame scanner designed for continuous-duty industrial burner applications. It utilizes a gas-filled UV-sensitive tube to detect radiation from fossil fuel flames while incorporating an electromagnetic shutter mechanism. This shutter provides a fail-safe “self-check” by periodically blocking the sensor’s view, allowing the system to verify the integrity of the scanner and its internal electronics. This model is specifically engineered with a 1 inch BSP mounting thread and a 230 VAC shutter drive.
