Overview
The Fireye 25SU3-2000 is a high-performance, 19-inch rack-mounted flame safeguard amplifier designed to detect the presence or absence of flame in single or multi-burner industrial environments. It excels in burner discrimination by accurately differentiating pulse rates from scanners, ensuring high reliability in complex combustion systems. This CE-approved module operates on 24 VAC or 24 VDC and supports remote communication for integration with PLCs and SCADA systems.
Features
- Keypad Entry System with password protection to prevent unauthorized parameter changes.
- Eight-character alpha-numeric LED display and front panel status indicators for real-time diagnostics.
- Dual Scanner Support capable of analyzing pulse inputs from two scanners (A and B) independently or in combination.
- Dual Logic Programs (Scanner Option 1 and 2) allowing users to select different operating parameters for different scanner configurations.
- Adjustable Thresholds and Timing including independent flame relay pull-in/drop-out thresholds and Flame Failure Response Time (FFRT) from 1 to 6 seconds.
- Remote Communication via Allen-Bradley DF1 or MODBUS RTU protocols for PLC integration.
- Scalable Analog Output (4-20mA) specifically for measuring and monitoring the flame signal.
Specifications

Applications
The 25SU3-2000 is primarily used in industrial combustion and burner management systems. It is ideal for multi-burner process heating installations where precise flame discrimination is required to distinguish between target flames and background radiation. It is commonly integrated into Fireye rack-based systems (full, half, or surface mount) to provide centralized flame safeguard control for large-scale boilers and furnaces.
