18A32 Magnatrol Solenoid Valve (G18A32SC-ACBW) 1/2″, 0/200 PSI, Normally Closed, Full Port (120V)
Overview
The Magnatrol 18A32 (G18A32SC-ACBW) is a Type “A” Normally Closed (N/C) two-way, full port solenoid valve constructed with a bronze body. It is designed for general purpose fluid control and operates from zero to its maximum differential pressure, requiring no differential pressure to open. The valve opens when the coil is energized (“Energize to Open”) and closes when power is de-energized, utilizing an internal pilot-operated or direct-acting mechanism where the plunger lifts the piston after a pilot valve opens to relieve pressure. It features a dependable, packless construction.
Features
- Operation: Normally Closed (N/C), opening upon coil energization.
- Construction: Cast Bronze body with Globe Pattern, Full Port straight-thru design, and NPT ends (1/2″).
- Coil: Encapsulated Class B coil is standard (Class H available), designed for continuous duty with both AC and DC voltages, and includes 18″ long 18 gauge wire leads.
- Pilot and Spring Materials: Pilot valve is 303 Stainless Steel, and the spring is 302 Stainless Steel.
- Seal Material: Standard Orifice Seal is Buna-N (Viton or Glass Filled PTFE/Teflon are available options).
- Pressure Operation: No differential pressure is required for the valve to open.
- Installation: Must be mounted in a horizontal pipe with the solenoid enclosure vertical and on top.
