14S23 Magnatrol Solenoid Valve (G14S23SC-ACTS)

14S23 Magnatrol Solenoid Valve (G14S23SC-ACTS) 3/4″npt N/C 120V 0/50# STEAM

Overview

The Magnatrol 14S23 (G14S23SC-ACTS) is a Type “S” Normally Closed, two-way, full port, bronze solenoid valve. It is an internal pilot-operated valve designed to open when the coil is energized (Energize to Open) and close when power is de-energized. A key operational characteristic is that it requires no differential pressure to open and can operate from zero to its maximum differential pressure. The valve is constructed as a dependable, packless unit.

Features

• Operation: Normally Closed, opening upon coil energization.
• Pressure Operation: No differential pressure is required for the valve to open.
• Construction: Cast Bronze body with Globe Pattern and NPT ends, featuring a full port straight-thru design.
• Coil: Encapsulated Class H coil, designed for continuous duty with all AC and DC voltages.
• Internal Construction: Includes a Bronze piston, 430 Stainless Steel plunger, 303 Stainless Steel pilot valve, 304 Stainless Steel bonnet tube, Inconel spring and stem pin, Non Asbestos Gasket for the body seal, and Glass Filled Teflon for the orifice seal.
• Installation: Must be mounted in a horizontal pipe with the solenoid enclosure vertical and on top.
