Overview
The Johnson Controls T26S-22C is a line voltage mechanical thermostat designed to control heating, cooling, or year-round air conditioning units in commercial, industrial, or residential installations. It features an integrated bimetal thermometer, a liquid-filled sensing element for exceptional sensitivity to air temperature changes, and an exposed control dial with a knob. The unit comes equipped with a horizontal faceplate and a thermoplastic cover featuring a locking screw to discourage unauthorized tampering.
Features
- Liquid-Filled Sensing Element: Provides high sensitivity to surrounding air temperature changes.
- Switch Box Mounted Components: Line voltage components are enclosed within a switch box to provide electrical circuit isolation from the sensing element.
- Enclosed Pennswitch: Incorporates a dust-protected, heavy-duty SPDT snap-acting switch to safeguard contacts.
- Adjustable Range Stops: Features adjustable high and low dial stops to facilitate energy conservation by limiting the temperature setting range.
- Convenient Installation: Includes a mounting plate that allows easy installation and wiring to a standard 2 x 4 inch wall box without needing to remove the thermostat cover.
