Overview
The Siemens QPL32.002M00 is a manual reset gas pressure switch designed for the supervision of low gas or air pressures in commercial and industrial burner applications. Part of the QPx32 series, this switch detects when pressure falls below a pre-set threshold, causing the electrical circuit to break and lock into a state that requires a physical reset once safe pressure levels are restored. It is engineered for durability with a NEMA 4 rating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Features
- Manual reset mechanism ensures the system remains locked out until inspected by an operator
- Gold-plated contacts provide reliable electrical switching even in low-voltage applications
- NEMA 4 / IP65 rated enclosure offers protection against dust and water for outdoor use
- Ventless operation up to 7 psig eliminates the need for vent piping to the atmosphere in many installations
- Built-in side test connection allows for easy monitoring with a manometer or pressure gauge
- Compatible with a wide range of gases including natural gas, propane, butane, and hydrogen mixtures
