P70LB-1C Johnson Controls Pressure Control

Overview

The Johnson Controls VG1245AD+9A4GGA is a factory-assembled 1/2-inch, 2-way characterized ball valve paired with a VA9104-GGA-2S non-spring-return electric actuator. Designed to regulate the flow of hot water, chilled water, or low-pressure steam in commercial Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, this assembly responds precisely to signals from a system controller. It features high-quality stainless steel trim within a durable forged brass body to ensure exceptional performance, accurate control, and a long operational lifespan.

Features

• Long Life Expectancy: Tested and rated to operate reliably for a minimum of 200,000 leak-free cycles, even in challenging iron-oxide contaminated water conditions.
• Proportional Control: Equipped for precise positioning via a 0-10 VDC (or 2-10 VDC) proportional analog input signal.
• High Rangeability: Offers a 500:1 rangeability that ensures highly accurate flow control under varying load demands.
• Advanced Seating & Seals: Utilizes 15% graphite-filled PTFE seats backed with EPDM O-rings for constant seating force, alongside an EPDM double O-ring stem seal for superior leak protection.
• Characterized Flow: Includes an Amodel flow characterizing disk to achieve an equal percentage flow characteristic, providing stable temperature management.
