Overview
The Johnson Controls CSDSC-C50150L2 is a split-core (clamp) current switch from the Self-Calibrating (CSDSC) Series, designed to provide reliable verification of electrical equipment operation. It uses a single-turn dial to select motor full load amps, allowing the sensor to be safely preset when the panel is de-energized. This eliminates the need for live calibration and personal protective equipment (PPE), significantly reducing installation time in HVAC and building automation applications.
Features
- Split-core design fits easily into tight enclosures without disconnecting the monitored cable.
- Self-powered operation, deriving power directly from the current induced by the monitored line.
- Integrated command relay provides normally open (N.O.) 10 A switching control.
- Adjustable setpoint dial allows simple pre-calibration without live electrical exposure.
- Polarity insensitive status output simplifies field wiring.
- LED indicator provides clear local verification of switch status.
Specifications
- Amperage Range: 0.50 A to 150 A maximum monitored current
- Minimum Trip Setpoint: 0.50 A (adjustable via dial)
- Status Output Rating: Switch normally open (N.O.), 1.0 A at 30 VAC/VDC
- Relay Contact Rating: N.O., 10 A at 125 VAC
