Overview
The Johnson Controls CSD-SA1E1-1 is a solid-core, adjustable current switch with an integrated command relay designed to non-intrusively detect current flowing through a cable or wire. It provides a cost-effective solution for monitoring on/off status or proof of operation while facilitating the starting and stopping of the monitored motor.
Features
- Dual function that monitors current and controls motor start/stop
- 100% solid-state status output with no moving parts to fail
- Self-powered sensing circuit induced directly from the monitored line
- Polarity insensitive output for simplified wiring
- Snap-in mounting bracket and compact size for tight enclosures
Specifications
- Amperage Range: 1.00 to 135 A (Adjustable setpoint)
- Output Relay: SPST, Normally Open, 10 A at 260 VAC, 5 A at 30 VDC
- Actuation Coil: 20 to 30 VAC/VDC, 40 to 85 mA maximum
- Switch Load Capacity: 1 A at 30 VAC / 42 VDC maximum
- Operating Temperature: 5 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (-15 to 60 degrees Celsius)
- Humidity Range: 0 to 95% RH, non-condensing
- Sensing Aperture: 0.71 inch (18 mm) diameter
Applications
- Motor run verification for fans, blowers, heating coils, and pumps
- Proof-of-flow status detection in commercial air handling systems
- Over and under current fault signaling
