Overview
The Johnson Controls CD-310-U00-00U is a room carbon dioxide (CO2), relative humidity (RH), and temperature transmitter designed for environmental monitoring and control in commercial HVAC systems. This wall-mounted device uses a non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor for CO2, a precision thermistor for temperature, and a thermoset polymer-based capacitance sensor for humidity. It provides three separate analog outputs to a Building Automation System (BAS) to ensure optimal indoor air quality and energy efficiency through demand-controlled ventilation.
Features
- Triple Sensing: Measures CO2 levels, relative humidity, and ambient temperature in a single low-profile enclosure.
- Advanced CO2 Sensing: Utilizes dual-channel optics and long-term adjustment signal processing technology to monitor CO2 from 0 ppm to 10,000 ppm.
- Self-Calibration: Includes a self-calibration feature to correct sensor drift in typical occupancy environments.
- Analog Outputs: Provides linear 0 VDC to 5 VDC or 0 VDC to 10 VDC field-selectable signals for all three measurements.
- Ease of Installation: Features a backplate with multiple mounting hole configurations for single-gang electrical boxes or direct wall mounting.
- Durable Design: Housed in an attractive white ABS/PC enclosure with a clean, modern look suitable for office and commercial environments.
